Cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, when they are placed, and how you can oppose their placement.
What is a “cookie”?
An “Internet Cookie” (also known as a “browser cookie” or “HTTP cookie” or simply a “cookie”) is a small file consisting of letters and numbers that will be stored on the computer, mobile device, or other equipment of a user accessing the Internet.
The cookie is installed through a request sent by a web server to a browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) and is completely “passive” (it does not contain software programs, viruses, or spyware, and cannot access the information on the user’s hard drive). The cookie stores certain information (for example, the preferred language or page settings), which your browser can retransfer when you visit the website again (depending on the cookie’s lifespan).
Cookies themselves do not require personal information to be used and, in most cases, do not identify internet users personally.
What cookies do we use?
Depending on their purpose, cookies are divided into two categories:
- Session cookies
- Persistent cookies
Session cookies are files temporarily stored only during the browsing session by the internet browser used by the user. These are also called necessary or functional cookies and are automatically active to ensure the proper functioning of the website. Session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed.
Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s device from which they access the website, to improve browsing by recording the user’s preferences and thus ensuring simpler, faster, and more interactive navigation. These have a longer lifespan, depending on the cookie’s parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user by modifying the settings of the used browser.
Types of cookies based on their role
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are necessary for internet pages to function properly. Strictly necessary cookies allow you to navigate the site and benefit from its features. Without these cookies, we cannot provide certain features, such as automatically redirecting to the least occupied server or retaining your wishlist.
Functional cookies
Functional cookies record information about the choices users make and also allow website operators to personalize the site according to the user’s requirements. For example, cookies can be used to save preferences related to categories/segments.
Performance and analytics cookies
These cookies allow website operators to monitor visits and sources of traffic, how users interact with the website or certain sections of the website.
The information provided by analytics cookies helps operators understand how visitors use the sites and then use this information to improve how content is presented to users.

What is the lifespan of a cookie?
Cookies are managed by web servers. The lifespan of a cookie can vary significantly depending on the purpose for which it is placed. As mentioned above, some cookies are used exclusively for a single session and are no longer retained once the user leaves the website (session cookies), while other cookies are retained and reused every time the user returns to that website (persistent cookies). However, cookies can be deleted by the user at any time through their browser settings.
What type of information is stored and accessed through cookies?
Cookies store information in a small text file that allows a website to recognize a browser. The web server will recognize the browser until the cookie expires or is deleted. The cookie stores important information that enhances the browsing experience on the Internet.
Customize your browser settings regarding cookies:
If cookies don’t bother you and you’re the only one using the computer, you can set long expiration times for storing browsing history and personal access data. If you share access to the computer, you may want to set your browser to delete individual browsing data every time you close the browser.
How can I disable cookies?
Disabling and refusing to accept cookies may make our site difficult to visit, leading to limitations on its use. All modern browsers offer the option to change cookie settings. These settings can generally be found in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser. To understand these settings, the following links may be helpful, and you can also use the “help” option in your browser for more details.
